Turbacz (1310 m n.p.m.)
Turbacz is another mountain included in the Crown of Polish Mountains. It is the highest peak of Gorce in the central point of the range. It has long been considered to be another tourist destination. Because this mountain is used in all kinds of celebrations. Namely, the Festival of the Mountains, during which every year on the second Sunday of August, a solemn mass takes place in the Papal Chapel on the Hangman's glade. An important element of this mass, there is a fact of it, that it is visited by highlanders going through the mountains, even from very distant places. In addition, the route of the bicycle marathon runs through Turbacz, played annually in the summer. This is also worth mentioning, that this place is characterized by a very large junction of tourist routes. Because, as you can learn, there are seven mountain ridges from Turbacz. The fact that tells about it is also interesting, that the top of Turbacz itself no longer belongs to the Gorce National Park, because it is already beyond its boundaries. However, regardless of this, many find this place extremely interesting, and therefore worth a visit. Spring and Turbacz, however, are the most beautiful in terms of views. Because it is at this time that the mountain clearings are beautifully decorated with nature, which causes admiration for many. Because let's imagine what the view must be with huge expanses of clearings, with lots of beautiful mountain flowers. In a word, an irreplaceable view. Therefore it was decided, that a shelter will be built on Mount Turbacz. That's it, and that interested tourists can stay in close contact with nature longer, which absolutely delight them. Besides, the shelter is a very impressive building, which in many of us intensifies the desire to stay there even more. Hence, enjoy the beauty of this place. The height of the Turbacz shelter is 1283 m n. p. m., and the summit itself is 1310m above sea level. p. m. So it can be said, that the built shelter is located practically at the very top, and therefore it is obvious, that there will be beautiful views from it.
